Ilona Meyer is General Counsel and Company Secretary at Nuix Limited, a global investigative analytics platform serving law enforcement and corporations across 140+ countries. With over 25 years of experience navigating uncharted legal territory in emerging technologies, Ilona has built her career making critical decisions when precedent doesn’t exist.

From the early days of software licensing and internet commerce to today’s AI governance challenges, Ilona has consistently operated at the intersection of innovation and regulation. Her expertise spans healthcare technology, pharmaceuticals, investigative analytics, and medical devices—industries where legal frameworks often lag behind technological advancement.

Recognized as one of 100 Brilliant Women in AI Ethics™ (2024), Ilona holds advanced certifications from Oxford (AI Program), MIT Sloan (AI Strategy), and University of Melbourne (AI Ethics). She serves as Non-Executive Director and Audit & Risk Committee Chair at Micro-X Limited (ASX:MX1) and sits on the International Paralympic Committee’s Nominations Panel.
