Fiona Chung is the Head of Commercial Legal for Uber in Australia and New Zealand. An experienced leader with over 15 years of experience across the technology, financial services and real estate sectors, Fiona is a trusted advisor to senior leadership. She is focused on driving strategic results, delivering commercial and pragmatic solutions and building a high-performing legal team. Her expertise cuts across a broad range of areas, including large-scale transactions, novel regulations and complex investigations, data and privacy, and consumer law matters.
Fiona is also deeply passionate about leveraging technology to improve efficiencies. In her prior role at Allianz, she developed a custom disclaimer generator to speed up marketing reviews. During her time at Uber, she has overhauled how legal workflows are managed across the APAC Legal team and is currently developing a redline tool with the aim of accelerating deal execution and enabling business teams to move more swiftly.
