At the end of 2018 Andrew joined the Legal & Secretariat team at Co-op – the UKs largest co-operative society. His career had previously been in the People Function where his focus had been on both business partnering operational leaders and more recently bringing a ‘people lens’ to large scale transformational projects. He joined the legal team at a time when the function had just been restructured and across the whole Co-op there had been significant change to internal teams. On the back of the restructure his first task was to start embedding cultural change and better ways of working and to assess how technology would support the team working efficiently. In 2020 he lead the implementation of a new matters management system moving from an old ‘on premise system’ to a cloud based system. And most recently he has been leading the process to introduce a new legal panel and also facing into how the Legal and Secretariat team operates now that it has expanded to include Public Affairs & Campaigning, Risk and Internal Audit.
Helen Doukas is a General Counsel in the tech sector. Having spent most of her career helping fast-paced tech companies such as Uber, Yahoo and LawVu navigate strategic, legal and regulatory issues, Helen understands the unique challenges that arise in transformative environments, and how to help high-powered teams thrive. Having built and led ILANZ’s In-house Legal Team of the Year in 2021, she is acutely aware of the challenges lawyers face in finding the time to navigate their own development. Phillippa Livingston is a Legal Operations Manager at dentsu. She has been working in Operations for over a decade with a specialisation in Process Improvement and Optimisation. In 2014 she obtained a Green Belt in Six Sigma and later qualified as a PRINCE 2 Practitioner. Since joining dentsu she has been driving a variety of Legal Operations Projects on subjects including Compliance, External Counsel, CLM, and assessing the Legal Tech market.

Lesley Wan is General Counsel for FBN Bank (UK) Limited and legal advisor to the Board. She has oversight of the UK, Paris and Lagos (representative offices), the company secretariat and supports the Compliance & whistleblowing function. Lesley sits on a number of external advisory boards, including Headlong and the London Business School’s “Out in Business” programme and is the Founder & President of The Eagle Club – a global network of women in senior leadership positions. She is also Founder and CEO of Through the Looking Glass, a charity which provides underprivileged children with an insight into City professions and encourages them to pursue higher education. Lesley has extensive experience working as a lawyer in private practice, an equity house and financial institutions in London and abroad including HSBC Bank plc, Lloyds Banking Group, SEB Bank, Bayern LB, LDC, A&O, Norton Rose and Russell McVeagh.
Richard is the Chief Legal Officer of Robert Walters Group and is responsible for all legal services worldwide. Before joining the Robert Walters Group in 2011, Richard was a technology lawyer at a leading London law firm before moving in-house. Richard is the Chair of the Raphael Row Foundation, which aims to work with those who administer prison systems worldwide and inspire them to abolish dehumanising, degrading and dangerous practices.
Matt is General Counsel at Fremantle. Fremantle produces over 12,000 hours of original programming every year across drama, entertainment, documentaries and film. He joined Fremantle in August 2021 and sits on the global board. Matt leads the Legal and Business Affairs teams across the world, who look to give timely, business focused advice to ensure that all of Fremantle’s different projects are given the best chance of success. Prior to Fremantle, Matt grew up in the UK and holds a BA in Economics and Politics from Durham University. Matt started his career with four years at Baker & McKenzie. Following that was an overall six-year stint working for global telco Telefónica with an enjoyable spell at Arsenal Football Club in the middle (he is a huge Arsenal fan). After heading up the legal team for Global Digital Ventures at Telefónica, Matt joined Uber in 2015 and, as General Counsel for EMEA & APAC based in Amsterdam, led a very diverse, international team who helped the business to scale, diversify (launching Uber Eats and JUMP bikes) and stabilise across over 50 countries, ultimately culminating in a successful listing on the NYSE in 2019. Matt is married and splits his spare time between being a climbing frame, personal Uber service and Lego expert for his three young daughters.
Megan Fouty is the General Counsel and CHRO at Glowforge, a Seattle-based technology startup that produces 3D laser printers. She is responsible for overseeing Legal, HR, customer support, recruiting, and facilities. Prior to joining Glowforge, she led the legal team at Convoy, another Seattle-based startup. Megan also founded Diversity University, a company that provides diversity, equity, and inclusion tools to organizations. She has extensive experience in both law firm and in-house legal positions, previously holding senior positions at Moss Adams and Expeditors International. Megan is an accomplished speaker and has received numerous accolades for her work, including being named in the Top Ten 30-Somethings by ACC National and receiving the "Legal MVP Award" by SimpleLegal. She recently published a book called The Art of Networking, which provides practical tools and advice to professionals looking to expand their network.
Ambitious and charismatic recent law school graduate, Reginald Matthews, obtained his Juris Doctor (J.D.) focused in Entertainment and Sport Law, Intellectual Property, Business/Transactional Law from Southern University Law Center. Jayne has been in the communications business for 25 years. Her unique range of experience includes: live voice-over announcing on BBC television; live, in vision business reporting on BBC television; presenting corporate programmes for blue-chip companies; hosting and speaking at live events (conferences, awards ceremonies); moderating panels. She has been running communication skills training for individuals and groups for 20 years, with a particular focus on the legal sector. Her BBC TV series on Mexico was nominated for a BAFTA; voice over credits include Sony and AstraZeneca and she has written for Condé Nast Traveller and Good Housekeeping. She learned journalism at the London College of Printing; has an acting diploma from the Royal Academy of Music and a Modern Languages degree from Cambridge. She recently delivered a TED talk for the Open University’s TEDx event "Please don't stop the world from talking". The 25 years Jayne has spent in front of both live audiences and TV cameras (plus the last 18 months in front of her laptop) means she is ideally placed to help others ‘shine’ as brightly as they can.
Angela Yotov was appointed as Group General Counsel of Close Brothers, a FTSE 250 merchant bank, in August 2019 where she sits on the Group Executive Committee and reports to the CEO. She is a passionate supporter of D&I and is the Executive Sponsor of the Close Brothers Working Parents & Carers network. Prior to joining Close, she was General Counsel at RateSetter, a fintech, and worked at Barclays Bank PLC in the investment bank and wealth management divisions following a stint at Latham & Watkins.
